This post won't be incredibly long. I haven't been able to talk to you guys solely because in the time between my last post and now, I had a surprise birthday party. This was a complete shock, in that I will explain much of at a later date. In the event of being taken off guard and rendered gullible by 10 of my closest friends, I left my all important laptop in my grandparents' car. I have been driving myself crazy without being able to post and sort through my clouded mind. Also, my internet is currently broken. So I feel like a caveman of sorts.

Where's the Pause Button?
Have you ever watched an old VCR tape? I love the way you can fast forward through the entire section of dragging commercials with the simple push of a button. In only seconds, every commercial before the movie can be over in seconds. I think about this classic way to watch movies and the powerful fast forward button, I think about the way life is much the same. Find the Diamond in the Rough
I brought the New Year in last night with my family and friends. I sat awake last night awaiting the moment that midnight would strike, leading us into the brand new beginning. Once midnight struck and the New Year was escorted in by fireworks and screams and kisses, I felt nothing but tired. After the excitement of 2011 ran dry, the fireworks died out, and the cold wind forced me inside, I just wanted to sleep. The only question I seemed to ask myself as I lay in my cousin’s bed preparing for the first dream of the New Year was this:
